Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

(Clients include industry and manufacturing)

Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) provide comprehensive information about a substance or mixture (physical, health, environmental hazards, and protective measures and safety precautions). SDSs are an essential component of the Globally Harmonized System (GHS). The newly formulated SDSs that have replaced Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) require sections and components of those sections to be globally equivalent. The SDS can be used to develop a program for worker protection specific to the workplace, and helps management to determine the best ways to protect worker health and safety as well as the environment.

DirectCIH has developed and updated many Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) to meet the new requirements of the Globally Harmonized System. SDSs have been produced by DirectCIH for the United States as well as to meet specific requirements of other countries.
